We have already listed some events happening in January 2019 that we think should be checked out. This time we will be looking at February 2019 events that are worth a look as well.

North West Wine, Beer & Food Festival - Waimauku, Auckland, 9 February 2019
This all ages event will feature music from Gin Wigmore, Tami Neilson & Jed Parsons and will include a dedicated kids zone, so parents won’t have to worry about keeping the little ones occupied for the entire day. The festival will showcase the finest food and wine selections from local vineyards, breweries and restaurants and features the festival’s strongest music line-up yet. This is an event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The range of food and wine available is staggering and the music will fit perfectly with the laid-back energy of the festival.

Bluewaters Music Festival - Cambridge, Waipa, 2 February 2019
Taking place on the picturesque banks of the iconic Karapiro river, this event is a throwback to when festivals were more about the music and creating an inclusive atmosphere. It will feature music from popular kiwi acts like Mi-Sex, Tiki Taane, House of Shem, The Fleetwoods, and more. Along with the beautiful location and amazing musical acts, there will be an array of beverages and mouth-watering gourmet food available. The event is R18 so organise a babysitter and go enjoy a day of chilled out music and positive vibes.

The Battle At The Brewery - Mangatainoka, Tararua, 9 February
This annual game of rugby has grown over the years from a simple pre-season run out for the Hurricanes, to a full on day of family fun. The main event has been framed around an afternoon of activities, entertainment, food and, of course, beer. The game takes places right outside the Tui brewery and the entire event is sponsored by the iconic NZ beer. Various ticket options are available and the event is all ages so there will be something for everyone. If you’re lucky you may even get to meet the players!

Wellington Wine, Beer & Food Festival - Wellington, 2 February 2019
This festival brings together local restaurants and matches them with local wineries and breweries that reflect the best of summer – sun, outdoors, fine wine, cold beer, delicious food, great music and fun with friends.
Music acts for the 2019 version include Anika Moa, Louis Baker, Niko Ne Zna, Tunes of I and Strangely Arousing. With talented and varied musical artists on display, a plethora of delicious food available and all the wine, beer and cider you can handle, this festival is shaping up to be one of the best this summer. Tickets are selling fast, so get in quick if you want to go!
